There has been news going round online regarding The Undertaker making upcoming WWE appearances. The WWE legend is scheduled to appear at Madison Square Garden on September 10th episode of SmackDown Live . There has been advertisement that he will appear on the October 2nd episode of SmackDown Live. That will mark the 20th anniversary show and the first episode on FOX.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that even though the belief was that WWE added Taker to the SmackDown 20th anniversary show over weak ticket sales, that weren’t the case. Instead, it had been planned for a while now. As of this writing, there’s no word yet as to why WWE officials decided until this past week to advertise him for this show.
Many people are worried about the future of WWE Hall of Famer as he is not currently scheduled for the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view. This is despite the fact that the September 10th episode will serve as the go-home Clash of Champions show for the SmackDown brand.
Undertaker is set to just appear on these two episodes of SmackDown and is not currently scheduled to wrestle a match.
