Switzerland Blacklists more Online Gambling Casinos

Switzerland continues to blacklist the online gambling operations which are not licensed. Recently, the country blacklisted one of the online gambling operations which were piggybacking on the name of a locally licensed operation that is yet to launch.

Federal Gaming Board of Switzerland (ESBK) released the latest update on the internationally licensed gaming operations that are cratering the punters without local permissions. The list on Tuesday had 285 names, including the new addition of 35 which are not permitted to function in Switzerland.

Most casinos are bog-standard Curacao licensed, including several number-prefixed mirrors of the same operators.

However, Sportsbet.io is also on the list which is quite recognizable in the UK. It has a partnership with many UK football clubs and logos can be seen in Southampton FC and Walford FC.

Also, Pasino.com, an Ethereum smart contact-based online casino clone of BC Game. BC Game also features in the list.

Passino.com was hoping for the confusion of the punters with Pasino.ch. Pasino.ch is the planned online casino of Group Partouche’s Casino du Lac Meyrin in Geneva. As of now, Pasino.ch shows a coming soon banner with the opportunity to subscribe.

Switzerland welcomed the 7th locally licensed online casino 7melons.ch, the online arm of Grand Casino Kurssal Bern AG, a Casino Austria International (CAI) property. CAI also launched StarVegas.ch, a Casino Interlaken property.

Mycasino.ch, the online casino market leader continues to raise the local profile in Switzerland. It now sponsors the shirt of FC Luzern and will put a logo on the Hockey club Genève-Servette HC.
