Come July 1 and 13 entertainment venues in Singapore would reopen after the pandemic. The Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Singapore Tourism Board has granted permission.

Among the venues, Casinos at the Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa are on the list. However, it has been clarified that the operations would be only 25% of the normal capacity and strict health and safety measures would be taken.

However, the Marina Bay Sands has released a press release and said that they are restricting the casino access to the Sand Rewards Club Members holding Gold Status and above and the Annual Levy Holder.

Marina Bay Sands also added that strict and safe measurements would be taken at the casino. There will be limitations on the number of partons as well in each of the tables, the casino said. The seats at the electronic gaming machine and slots are going to be at least one meter apart. There would be Safe Distancing Ambassadors who would ensure that there are no bystanders. Team members who have a customer-facing role would wear masks and face shields, the casino clarified. Sanitizer would be used before and after the shifts at the gaming table, confirmed Marina Bay Sands.

The Casino also claimed that they have trained 1000 staff for the safe distancing and would also reopen the Art Science Museum and Sands Sky Park.

The Resort World Sentosa will open Casino and Universal Studios Singapore from July 1 and SEA Aquarium on July 4.
