Play’n GO a massively successful Swedish casino operator has been awarded the title of Games Vendor of the Year. The title was handed to the operator at the Malta Gaming Awards.
Many people confuse the awards sometimes. Thinking that a title of Games Vendor of the year is a recognition of a video game developing company. But it is not reasonable to forget that most of the games played around the world are indeed gambling related. Even the video games coming out these days have gambling-type aspects, like the recent drama in the UK when they were considering to ban all gambling-related aspects of games like CS: GO.
Play’n GO at large
Going back to the story at hand, Play’n GO is undoubtedly the most deserving company to be awarded the title. Their performance in 2018 was exceptional, with many successes in terms of game development, revenue and of course, partnerships and business.
Just a few weeks ago we saw the Swedish gambling operator partner up with RoyalCasino, making a huge leap for the Scandinavian gambling community. After so many successes it was apparent that they needed to be rewarded at one of the biggest gambling events in Europe, SiGMA.
But what were the games they were awarded for? They couldn’t have been that good right? Well, they were. According to experts at SvenskaCasino.guide the games are one of the biggest hits of 2018 called Sweet Alchemy and House of Doom. Both slots games.
The company truly deserves it
The event was held in Malta, arguably the gambling hub of Europe. The venue was Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre. Unfortunately, the CEO of Play’n GO Johan Törnqvist, couldn’t attend it, but the Head of Sales and Account Management Magnus Olsson picked up the award in his name.
Naturally, the award was a big boost for the company in terms of recognition and more exposure, Johan Törnqvist was obviously very pleased, and highlighted that the hard work and dedication of the employees has finally paid off. And there is no doubt about it as the employees of the company have been complimented on their professionalism many times, most recently by the staff at RoyalCasino, Play’n GO’s newest partner.
