While anticipating tomorrow’s Surface launch, we have been fortunate enough to get a sneak peek of Microsoft’s lineup courtesy of Evan Blass who posted the gadgets on twitter. Let’s dive in, shall we?
First in line is the Surface Pro 7. It resembles the Surface Pro 6 in terms of bezel thickness, kickstand and Surface Type Cover.
What makes Pro 7 different is the USB-C port which is a replacement of the Mini-Display port as well as featuring the 10th gen Intel Core CPU.
The second device that Blass revealed is the Surface Laptop 3 which features 13-inch and 15-inch variants. The 15-inch is a new option since Surface Laptop 2 had a 13.5-inch model.
Apart from that, rumor has it that the third generation Surface Laptop will employ an AMD Ryzen octa-core processor. The good thing about this PC is that it will have no Alcantara covering since the whole top is simply smooth metal.
Moving on, Microsoft will launch a third device which is an Arm-powered Surface. Following the pro-release images, it is incredibly thin with super skinny bezels, seems like Microsoft was responding to Apple’s iPad Pro with this release.
The Arm-powered surface is rumored to feature a snapdragon SoC which will elevate it to an ‘always-connected device’ status. This tablet could be the showstopper tomorrow.
With all the three devices leaked, we still need to catch up with the launch tomorrow because there is no news on the double screen Centaurus Surface. The event will start at 10.00 am ET, don’t miss out!
