Lightning Box Signs Agreement with Open Gaming System

Lightning Box, a slots provider from Australia has formed an agreement with Open Gaming Ecosystem. The developers now would be able to expand the content across the United States of America, thanks to the agreement.

The parent company, Scientific Games Corporation has now launched a subsidiary game in Pennsylvania, marking its entry to the US market.

Lightning Box released only two titles, Lightening Horseman and Respin Rhino. Both are action-packed games with medium-high volatility. Interestingly, both of the releases were launched by the Open Gaming System (OGS). OGS is a content aggregation platform that allows users to access games online.

Lightning Box has announced new releases such as Blown Away, Golden Yak, Lightning Leopard, Chicken Fox, Silver Lion, and Panda Pow! These are 5-reeler developed in 3D with 25 ways to win. There are bonus games and complimentary wins as well.

The launch will be built on the OGS platform. Lightning Box went live in New Jersey in 2015. However, it serves punters in Canada through British Columbia Lottery Cooperation and Loto Quebec.

Scientific Games and Open Gaming System could help Lightening box to reach a wider audience in the US Market.

Talking about the deal, CEO, and co-founder of Lightening Box, Peter Causley commented that they are very excited about the Pennsylvania opportunity and looking forward to it. He continued that with the OGS platform, they are good to penetrate a new market and expand the player base.

Dylan Slaney, Senior Vice President of Digital Gaming at the Scientific Games echoed similar views. He said that it is fantastic to see the debut of Lightning Box in Pennsylvania. Slaney commented that they are glad to have played the role in the expansion of Lightening Box’s expansion in the US market. Raising hope, he said that Lightening would bring great results in Keystone state similar to New Jersey.

Lightening has also released a new slot Kalahari Safari. The players can explore Africa with a partnership with Betsson. Betsson has exclusive gaming rights for two weeks.

It comes with 5 reels, 4 rows, and 1024 ways to win with medium volatility. It has some thrilling rounds of the complimentary spins along with the African wild-life theme. The game will be available at the SG Digital once the exclusive right is over for Betsson.
