Apple’s tablet OS has been upgraded from iOS 13 to iPadOS 13 and there are new cool features that come with it.
The dark mode feature is a cool add on as it enables users to enjoy easy reading at night. To turn dark mode on, you can simply instruct Siri to do so.
With iPadOS 13, you can now have widgets on your home screen on the left side of your screen. Apps like weather, Apple news, the calendar can now be at your disposal.
Additionally, you can now have folders in the file apps. If you are the kind of person with a bunch of PDF files that you need to revisit, you can now categorize them in a customized order.
This is a great improvement from the previous OS which needed you to remember the exact app that you had opened your PDF files. Other file app improvements include more options that you can choose from when long-pressing a file.
iPadOS 13 is now compatible with numerous external drives and better yet you can view the files in the drives. However, you will still have to carry a USB-A or a lightning dongle since most thumb drives are USB-A.
Another cool feature is the ability to open two split view windows of a single app. You don’t have to close the window you are viewing, simply drag the next window and have the best of the two worlds.
There’s much to say about the iPadOS 13, this is just a snippet. Upgrade and enjoy all these awesome features and more.
