Indian and Bahrain, two countries with an appetite for technology, have signed deals that in effect makes them partners in matters culture, space technology, and solar energy. Narendra Modi and Prince Khalifa Bin Salman held consultative talks to lend support to these bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Modi, who is the first Indian leader to set foot in Bahrain, and his counterpart, witnessed signing of the MOUs in culture, solar alliance collaboration, and space technology. This means that India’s space research organizations and the national space science agency in Bahrain will begin collaborations in space technology.
The Indian space agency, which was launched four years ago, by Modi and then than French president Francois Hollande, has made significant contributions to the Paris climate accord through deployment of solar technology.
Both countries also signed agreements that will make them partners in cultural programs. Modi, during the meeting, expressed his joy and thanked the Prince for hosting him Bahrain. Prior to the talks, Modi was presented with a ceremonial welcome at the Al Gudaibiya.
The Indian Prime minister, who is on a three-nation tour to the UAE, Bahrain, and France, is also expected to meet King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa to explore other frontiers of collaboration.
