Foxwood Converts Gaming Floor for Old Age Group

The COVID19 impact has made many operators think differently to bring a crowd. Foxwood Resorts Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, creating a new way to pull crowds from 55 and above age group. The casino is converting one of the existing game floors dedicated to the age group.

The casino announced the news and said that it is time for the grownups to play. The casino announced that the safe, sanitized, and socially announced Rainmaker Casino is exclusively for 55 plus age group from 10 AM to midnight every weekend in November.

The club also announced that there would be special Fox Perxs and giveaways if paid through Foxwood Rewards Coin. Complimentary beverages and 80s Music are also available.

It is a tribal casino and thus need not adhere to state ant-COVID policies. However, the casino took a break and reopened in June. The revenue was comparatively well during June but fell by 25% in August and 20% in September on a year-on-year comparison.
