Entertainment Cruise Productions (ECP) announced the addition of three bands to their line-up for the 80s Cruise 2020. In addition to Bret Michaels, ECP confirmed Loverboy and Grandmaster Flash as additions to the voyage.
The 80s Cruise departs from Miami Florida March 8th 2020 and sails to San Juan, St. Thomas, Punta Cana and Labadee before returning to port on March 15th.
Bret Michaels is known as the lead singer of Poison where the single “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” was a number one hit single during the 1980s. Michaels is also known for his role on multiple television programs and for his extensive charity work.
Loverboy is known for two hit singles “Turn Me Loose” and “Working for the Weekend.” Out of Canada, their music is still heard across the nation and the United States.
Grandmaster Flash is known as an expert hip hop recording artist and DJ. Considered by many to be a pioneer in his field, he was inducted along with his bandmates in the Furious Five into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. Their most renowned mainstream single is “The Message.”
The addition of the three new performers brings the number of concerts to over 50 during the week. The entertainment consists of over 20 bands and performers ranging from the B-52s to Dire Straits Legacy. Beyond the concerts will be a number of 80s theme nights to be announced in the near future.
Learn more about the 80s Cruise and the 80s Cruise will be entering it’s fifth year of sailing in 2020. Past artists have included Rick Springfield, Survivor, Tiffany, and Debbie Gibson. The voyage will take place on the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas. The ship holds over a dozen bars, clubs, restaurants, lounges, along with pools and a casino.
