Apple is Going to Make a Big iPhone Announcement Next Month

It seems like Apple will announce the new iPhone 11 on September 10.

Recently the company sent out media invites for an event to be held at the Steve Jobs Theater at its Apple Park campus. Ever since 2012, Apple has released a new iPhone every September, so it’s highly possible that it will do so this time also during its upcoming event.

It is expected that Apple’s next iPhone will be called the iPhone 11 or iPhone Pro and will be incorporated with a new triple-lens camera for capturing ultra-wide angle photos much like Samsung’s new smartphones. It may also include a feature for wireless charging of accessories such as the Apple Watch and AirPods by placing them on the back of the iPhone, as reports from TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, and Bloomberg show, as 9to5Mac noted.

The new iPhone is likely to arrive in three different versions, following the pattern Apple started in 2017. It is expected there will be a successor to the iPhone XS and the bigger sized iPhone XS Max in addition to a iPhone XR follow-up.

At the event, the company is also expected to tell more about its new Apple TV Plus entertainment service and Apple Arcade gaming subscriptions. Also, there is a change it could reveal a new Apple Watch, as it’s done in the past years.
