This movie is a production of Clint Eastwood and stars Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle who is widely regarded as being the most lethal sniper in American military history. There is much more to Kyle than what is told. He was sent to Iraq to protect his brothers in arms. His accurate shooting ability saves thousands of lives and due to his achievements in war, he earns the nickname “Legend”. As a result of his achievements, he also becomes known to enemies who put a price on his head.
Despite the dangers, Chris successfully comes through four tours of Iraq. After coming back home, he discovers that he just cannot leave the war behind. During an early scene of the movie, we see a confrontation where Kyle takes aim at a young boy who is about to hurl a grenade at his platoon. Between tours, Kyle returns home to Texas with his wife Taya who is astutely played by Sienna Miller. The couples domestic disputes are not unusual for a movie of this type American sniper is definitely an interesting and thought provoking movie,
especially for those who want to improve their understanding about how war works.
